Elevator Pitch
Friends! Lovers! Neighbors! My name is Maddie Hayes, and I very much enjoy literature. Which you already know, given the title of my blog, but a fact is a fact, and facts bear repeating. I'm a sucker for a good book, a strange poem, a well crafted lie. You get it. What do I love more than literature, you ask? Great question, dear reader! Humans have reliably recycled words, stories, themes, and legends, in all kinds of ways, for eons. (Disclaimer: have not done the actual math. Math is not my forte. I digress). Why should you care that I love that? Well, to be honest with you- honesty is important in any great relationship!- you don't have to. There is no "should" in this particular corner of the internet.
